The field got really spread out in last night's practice so Le Mans might not be the best option. We can always change the track (bit late but still), once we get in the lobby we can talk about it.

That's actually the very next race in the season , so I was thinking Sedona Raceway Park or Suzuka, but any track we're not scheduled to visit is fair game as well. You're Mr4Speed on Live right? I think you got into club (know there were some issues) but if you didn't let me know.

It would be our Trans-Am-themed Forza 4 racing series . Two of them, actually, this week is the B450 Under-2L/Two-Five Challenge followed by the A550 muscle car race next weekend. Races are at 4:15pm EST on Saturdays going all the way into June, 12 rounds per series. Want to get involved just tell me your gamertag and we'll get you into the car club.

Same, I just didn't know what everyone else is feeling. Problem with this series is it's populated by apathetics so you never really get a commitment from anyone, so far it's one yes, one no, and your 'meh' so it's still kinda up in the air. Check Oppo again this time tomorrow and this post will be up with a finalized track and target time.

Also, not sure how closely (if at all) you've been following the series but we changed the BoP adjustments since the start of the season: now you guys set your own adjustments based on a lap time, basically build your car to B450 spec and from there subtract or add PI until you match that time. Should make things simpler for everyone.

I have a Belkin N400 that runs both a PS4 and 360 without any probem and it was like $45 at Target or wherever, don't know if it's different if you have the same brand of consoles or just two different gen's. I hate technology for this reason, there's just so much random shit that happens.

Just let me know your gamertag and I'll get you into the car club, we sound out invites on race day from the club screen so you kinda need to be in it to get into our lobby. That, or just FR mackleroy45 (me) if you want to stay in your old club. The way we run these series make for some close racing so if that's what you're looking for you won't be disappointed. The one with chicanes so we aren't just sitting there for a minute and a half doing nothing. Seriously, I timed it, it was 104 seconds from the apex of Tetre Rouge to the braking zone of Mulsanne. Mulsanne to Indianapolis was 44 seconds so that's a whole of nothing to be doing for almost half the race...

You can normally switch off the provided router's wifi, and connect another router to it via ethernet. Does it have that capability?

Sounds good, we normally get on around 9 or 10pm on Fridays and run a practice lobby if you'd like to test your car out against already built ones. I don't think you're on my friends list but if you go to the club screen you can join-in-progress by clicking my GT (mackleroy45) and going from there. We'll also send out club invites too.

OK, I'm finally ready with my A550 and B450 cars. Last question - the sport transmission on the B450 setup is a 5speed not a 6 - is that what everyones running with?

For the Cuda (and all 426-powered Mopar products) you have to take off a bit of tire width to get to the base 550, I think it's like the 2nd- or 3rd-widest tires. Mentioned it in the main series post, sorry if it was kinda hidden.

I'm running a 5-speed, pretty sure everyone else is too. You rarely get out of 4th gear in these cars anyways so 6 is just kinda overkill.

Oh yeah, I'm an engineering major (plus I try to get schoolwork done early) so I'm lucky if I get Saturdays off (Sundays can be a bit of a crapshoot). Not an ideal schedule but I get by alright, I can't complain much.

What kind of Internet problems you having? A couple of us have had NAT type errors since we're running both last- and current-gen consoles through the same router (apparently causes issues) so we can help with that if need be.

Also what's your gamertag? I think I sent a club invite out to you but I'm not sure.

I'll get an invite sent once I get home. Here's the website I used to set up my family's router, you have to do something called port forwarding. Bit complicated but it works, alternatively go here and get this free software thing that does it for you.

Suzuka, Motegi, Sedona, any of the ones we haven't done yet. If we keep our cars at the same PI as the Laguna Seca race lap times shouldn't be a problem, seemed like everyone was dialed in.

Hey man, sorry if last race was kinda clusterfucky, it's not normally that disorganized. The A550 race is for sure at Le Mans if you want to get practice in, target lap time's 4:40-4:45 so adjust your car accordingly.

Hey man, don't know if you tried to join on Saturday and couldn't, a bunch of people were having network problems. In the future if you do try and join but can't, just reply to the post that I always make an hour before the race and let me know and we'll find a new host and get you in the lobby.
